Budhabare, Mechi : ウィキペディア英語版 | Budhabare, Mechi Budhabare, Mechi is a Village Development Committee in Jhapa District in the Mechi Zone of south-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 16,567 people residing in 3091 individual households. Budhabare is located just below the hills of Ilam. Budhabare is named for the market that is located there every Wednesday (Budhabar in Nepali). The market grew in importance tremendously after the highway to Ilam was constructed, as Budhabare now lies along the Mechi Highway which connects all district of Mechi zone,Nepal. It is the most fertile area of Jhapa district and grows 2/4 part of rice, corn and Supari. ==Facilities in Budhabare== Budhabare VDC has one health post center and so many organizations working for the development of VDC. The Nepal Red Cross Society Sub Chapter Budhabare is working for the awareness of the local people and other social responsibilities. This place is famous for betelnut production across the country.
